Hello! I'm Abbey.

As a kid growing up in Colorado, I was continually drawn to the power of storytelling Amidst the colorful tales and treasured heirlooms of my family, I was aware of the ability of a space or object to serve as a window into the past. Upon first exploring the architectural process during a high school drafting class, I knew I'd found my own creative medium to help nurture, enliven, and celebrate the stories of others.
My undergraduate degree in Architecture introduced me to modern design, while my postgraduate studies in Interior Design exposed me to the rich history of the American South. From this, the desire to combine the significant roots of the past with contemporary features and functions has become a cornerstone of my work. My innate sensitivity makes me a receptive observer and attentive listener, allowing me to tap into and clarify my clients' visions and desires for a space.

With over 20 years in the Architecture and Design industry, my work has ranged from small residential remodels to multistory commercial renovations, each one with its own important significance. As a designer, wife and mother of two, I live and breathe the importance of place and the need to create a "home" in all its forms. For me, for all of us, there are so many stories left to be told; great space is where we live them and share them with the world.
